CATRD offers a Fall Seminar, Spring Seminar and a June Conference that provide clock hours which can be used for those with National Certifications. CATRD offers the Dotti Mullen Grant, the Volunteer of the Year Award and the Polly Avery Lifetime Achievement Award to our members. These are given out at our annual June Conference. Nominees must be a current member of CATRD. All applications must be received by April 1st. Below is a description of each item which can be downloaded from our site.
- Dotti Mullen Grant ~ up to $1500.00 can be awarded to facilities seeking funds for special programs or projects that enhance the quality of life for residents. Details are included in the grant application form which can be obtained from your region representative, from Marion Pierce or downloaded from our web site.
- Volunteer of the Year ~ need we say more. We are looking for a special volunteer or group of volunteers who should be recognized for the work that they do for our residents. - Polly Avery Lifetime Achievement Award ~ an award given to a CATRD member who has made a significant contribution to the field of TR. Selecting a person for this award allows us to honor someone who has gone above and beyond the “call of duty.” Nominees must have been in the field for twenty plus years.
