HELP SECTION

Part I - LOGIN ISSUES

1. First, in order to gain access to the CATRD Member's Only section of this web site you must be a bonafide member of the CATRD organization.

If you are not a member and would like to become one you may join our organization by checking out the Membership Information page, completing the membership application form and mailing in the appropriate payment.

2. As a bonafide member of CATRD you have the ability to access the Member's Only section of this web site once you register your personal information on the Registration Information page.

3. Complete the Registration page accurately.

Type the answers to all the questions
Those questions with red * are required.
If you make a mistake, or your email address is not correct you will not receive a confirmation notice.
Your password and/or login cannot contain any spaces.
Your password must be at least six (6) characters long.
For increased security, we recommend creating a password containing both numbers and letters.
Your password is case sensitive, so remember which letters you capitalized.
Check your information completely before hitting the submit button.
Only hit the submit button once.

5. After successful and accurate completion of the Registration Information page you will receive a confirmation email.

The email will state that your registration to catrd.com has been accepted.
Once you receive the confirmation email you may login to the web site.
You must use the same username and password that you entered in the Registration Information form.
If you do not receive a confirmation email try re-entering your information on the Registration Information page.
If this does not work contact the Webmaster.

6. Keep your username and password in a safe place.

If you lose your information try clicking on "Forgot Password?" on the Login page.
If this does not work contact the Webmaster.

7. If you are having a problem logging in, here are some things you can do...

Be sure you are using the correct username and password.
Your password is case sensitive, so remember which letters you capitalized.
Be sure you have an active connection to the internet.
Be sure you do not have firewall software on your PC blocking the login form submission.
Be sure you have cookies enabled.
Be sure if you clicked "Remember me" that it was the correct username and password.
Try clearing history, cookies, and passwords from your Browser under Tools, then Internet Options.
Don't use a link, or favorites to access the login page.
Start with a fresh Browser window and type in the address www.catrd.com then go to the login page.
Finally, try to re-register. If your info is in the database it will tell you your email address is already used.
If not you will need to register your information again.
If you have tried these suggestions and you still can't login contact the Webmaster.

Part II - EMAIL ISSUES

1. If you are a Board Member then you will have an email address issued to you.

It will be all in lower case and will be the first initial of you first name followed by your last name (ex. jdoe@catrd.com)
The Webmaster sets up the email preferences for you.
The @catrd.com email will be forwarded to another email address of your choosing.
The Webmaster will send you an email notifying you of what the temporary password is.
You can go online and change any of your settings and forward information.
If you wish the Webmaster to make these changes for you, simply contact the Webmaster.

2. You can log into your email account from any location by typing in http://mail.catrd.com

You should change your password to something familiar to you and keep the information in a safe place.
If you can not login to your email contact the Webmaster.

3. The email program is fairly straight forward to use.

There is a help section to answer most questions. If you have questions try there first.
You can compose email and save mail you send out.
If offers a calendar and spell checking too.
If you run into problems using your email program contact the Webmaster.
