Average salaries range from $27,000 to $50,000 depending on educational background and setting. Employment opportunities in the health care industry are excellent and are projected to be in the top 4 area's through the next century. Recreation therapists find their work is both rewarding and creative and is considered a highly valued service by all health care disciplines."
